Water is so unique and is vital for life. And since water makes up more than half of your body weight, it’s going to have a significant impact on all of your body’s functions. My hope is that you will learn something new after reading this post. 🙂

Hungry or thirsty?

The hypothalamus, a part of the brain, sends nearly the same signal whether you are hungry or thirsty. It’s really easy to think that we are hungry when our body is just thirsty. To figure out if you are truly hungry, drink a glass of water and wait 15 minutes before considering to eat something.

Counting Calories?

Don’t forget that water doesn’t have any calories!

Need more flavor?

  1. Add Fruit
    1. Add fruit to a pitcher of water and let it sit overnight. That will give enough time for the fruit to get infused in the water.
    2. Freeze fruit in ice cubes
  2.  Herbs
    1. Add herbs to your water such as ginger and mint leaves
  3. Tea

Lemon Water is another great way to enhance your water!
